I took a drive out to Haverhill to meet up with Simon. It has been about a week since we fished together and we have been having some good luck along this stretch of the Merrimack river.
I arrived at our location about 10 minutes before Simon and began to unpack. When he arrived he told me to throw the stuff back in the car, he had seen an area he wanted to hit. It was just up the road a bit, but the nice thing about it was that it was a bit more secluded. A nice rocky beach rather then mud/silt and very little snags.
We set up and had a god, tide was just about at the low mark when we started and fishing was a little slow. Once the turn around came though that all changed...we were in for a frantic day!
